    EFFECTS PEDALS

    An effects (FX) pedal, or stomp box, can be used to modify or alter the sound of an electronic instrument, usually an electric guitar but also keyboards and less common on brass and drums. The most common guitar effects pedal are distortion, overdrive, modulation, reverb, delay, and filtering such as Equalisation, Tone, and Wah Wah.

    FX pedals are an electronic device in a metal or plastic casing and usually features one or two foot operated buttons or switches. The pedal is designed to be operated by a person's foot on the floor. Effects pedals are ideal for playing in a live situation because of their ease of use.

    There are many famous manufacturers such as Dunlop, Electro Harmonix, Boss, Behringer, Fret King, T Rex,  Way Huge, Korg, Mooer, Morley, MXR, Danelectro, TC, (most of which you will find in our shop) and even more not-so-famous brands.
